Playing Two Pairs

A online poker player who hits two pairs on the flop has what could be a monster poker online hand. It is almost always advisable to bet out aggressively in this situation. If you are first to bet, then go for it and raise it in a No-Limit game. When a bet comes out ahead of you, then raise. Early slow play of two pairs is risky because your poker hand could still get beat if the board unfolds with suited, connected or paired cards. Even with these draw possibilities on board, you should bet aggressively and make your opponents pay to see more cards. When you do get called, it’s possible you’re up against someone holding your high pair and a good kicker. For instance, you have Ace-7, the flop is A-7-2. In this situation, your opponent could be holding the Ace also with a King or other face card. However, they are drawing to three outs to beat your already made hand. You could gets lots of action from this type of situation, so be alert to it when you are playing two pairs. When your two pair is low, and the action goes beyond the flop, then be prepared to lay down your hand if high cards come out, and you are up against aggressive opposition.
