Verizon already announced the enhancements to FiOS TV Twitter and Facebook widgets 2 freshly added interactive social TV applications. With the updates, people who join to FIOS TV can send in real time and use Facebook with a keyboard on the screen.
Verizon’s FiOS TV and high-speed internet services are provided through its existing network. Company is increasing their focus on adding new functionalities to enhance the customer experience on social networking using FiOS television. These new features let subscribers’ enjoy additional ways of connecting with each other when using Verizon’s television service.
The new features added by Verizon last July were Facebook, Twitter, ESPN and Online video services by a new store called “The Widget Bazaar”. This gives the company’s FiOS TV consumers a chance to obtain new widgets and applications. Verizon will soon be opening “The Widget Bazaar” to third-party developers under revenue-sharing agreements.
Many cable providers are offering Triple Play which seems to be the name of the game in attracting more subscribers. Verizon competes in the arena by offering more feature to it FiOS TV service, plus not to mention FiOS infrastructure that provides quality images and sounds. Needless to say that despite the stiff competition, FiOS TV is still ahead of the competition.
