A Disastrous Wedding

To get hitched or not to marry? That is the doubt. It never previously was the inquiry. It was before ‘When to marry?’ not ‘why to marry’. For a long time adult females were required and required themselves to get a mate young, wed and start up home with tiddlers and a dog, and devote their lives to organising a good household. Perhaps because adult females have been liberated from what were once their orthodox roles, that a wedding is no longer a top prority and most assuredly not the only path to take. In Actually umpteen people- both men and female decidedly detest the idea of marriage, and can’t envisage gazing into a partner’s face and promising without compromise to spend the remaider of their days with them until death do they part. In many ways it’s quite sad, because weddings can be such wonderful events- especially when they feature a glorious wedding gown and sky lanterns. But, disastrous marriages can be damaging, financially and emotionally ruinous, and the most lonely things of all. Though being in a ill-suited relationship is also extremely isolating, somehow with the marriage mark, it’s worse. The outside world have certain expectations of a pair when they are officially married and have purportedly spent so much dosh on their wedding day. They are expected to be happy or to at least try their damndest to be so. As a result of this sensed outside pressure, many married couples feel they have to put on a face and conceal their honest emotions. The reason why there were once a greater amount marriages or why marriages lasted a few generations ago is because couples had no choice but to keep pressing on with their relationship. This is good in some respects, but in others, it is very negative. Yes there were more married couples, but there were also many more desperately suffering ones.
