Hayling Island

Hayling Island is a tiny island thats united with the mainland merely by a Bridge on the Southern tip of Hampshire.

This scenic Island is called home by only 16,900 individuals who savor the miles of coastal lines bordering the Solent. The traditional Seaside spirit is a flawless backdrop for Sailing, swimming, kite surfing and Wind Surfing.

Boasting two churches St Peters built in 1140 and St Marys which dates back to the 13th Century. A visit to the Life Boat Station and Museum situated on Sandy Point explains the fearlessness and history, whilst the scenes across to the entrance of Chichester harbour may be enjoyed and possibly captured..

Or if you fancy a round or 2 why not tee off at the Haying Island Golf Club, founded in 1865, the 18 holes will test any golfer, set in a scenic location looking out across the Solent towards the Isle Of White, complete with Club House and of course the 19th Hole.

Or possibly the engrossing treasures on presentation at the Royal Marines Museum won’t fail to impress, with their displays of Landing Craft, Uniforms, Silver and Manuscripts dating back centuries.
