A Tent Heater will keep you warm and cozy when camping
Are you ready to go camping with your new tent heater and camping equipment.
Ok so you’ve been camping for a while now and you want to venture into unchartered territory. You’ve always camped in the spring and summer but now your ready to try fall and winter camping. There can be very cold nights depending on what campground you choose so what could be the best thing to avoid a chill? Why a heater of course. The military have been using gas catalytic tent heaters for ages now and campers have jumped on the bandwagon.
Tent heaters are lightweight and portable, designed for use indoors or out. Wall Tent camping heaters are usually propane gas and some can heat up to 200 sq ft or a 6-man tent. Features include quick and safe spark-to-light ignition and automatic low-oxygen shutoff.
Coleman Black Cat Portable Heater (OGTHOOOO1004) with electronic ignition has an advanced platinum catalytic combustion system that converts propane into heat energy at 850 degrees F just below ignition point of most flammable materials. Features include an electronic ignition, adjustable high/low temperature setting, compact legs for easy storage, easy to grip handle. Aprox. 3lbs and runs for 7 hours on a single propane cylinder.
Other popular heaters for tents include Masterglo, Mr. Heater MH24T double heat and Streamlight 33202 ProPolymer with LED flashlight. Other items to keep you warm on your camping trip at night include an air mattress or foam sleeping pad, a mummy sleeping bag and bag liner, dome tent, extra blankets and of course hot chocolate

A SALUTE TO ALL VETERANS
I salute all veterans throughout the world who have faithfully served their country. November, 11 was established as Veterans’ Day to honor former service members who served. Too often we forget them and in today’s world, it seems as if sacrifices mean little.
I recall my small hometown having a Veterans’ Day parade…the high school band would be playing, school children would line the Main Street and clap and wave as we veterans proudly marched to the beat of the drums. Several years ago, this tribute was discontinued although a lightly attended ceremony is held in the city park. The children of today are missing out on seeing and supporting patriotism..how sad!
From our first Armies when soldiers fought for America’s freedom, through today’s conflicts, men and women have sacrificed (some even their very lives) so America could remain free….free to worship the LORD our God, free to vote, so many freedoms taken for granted!
This Veterans’ Day, hug a veteran, tell a veteran thanks, and PRAY for all our active duty military throughout the world.
MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY VETERAN, THIS DAY, I PRAY.

A Look at Rustic Home Furnishings
The word ‘rustic’ triggers an image of a rugged, bold, hearty personality. This applies to home furnishing and furniture as well. One can find rustic furnishings in a country house, a hunting lodge or a cabin in the woods.
These are mostly handcrafted out of authentic materials like wood, cane, or wrought iron. Rustic furniture is heavy, rugged and solid. Genuine rustic furniture is expensive because of the high price of such materials as hard wood, plush cushioning and wrought iron.
Though rustic furnishings are commonly found in country homes or in the woods, some people consider them fashionable even for their city dwellings, as they lend a country ambience, providing much-needed relief from the hustle and bustle urban life.
But it is difficult to find rustic furniture in large cities where many companies have started manufacturing furniture that resembles genuine rustic furniture. The pseudo-rustic furniture is often made of pressed wood and hard plastic.
Because of the high prices, many people prefer such furniture that is rustic looking, though it is not as sturdy as the genuine rustic furniture made of solid wood and iron.
Because of their rugged, handcrafted style, rustic furniture gives a warm and comfortable feeling, even in an urban dwelling. One can make a bedroom set attractive by having a solid pine bed frame and matching dresser installed in it.
Similarly, a heavy wooden rocker with a country style-cushion can pep up any room. Even the bathroom can be embellished with a wrought iron mirror frame, oak vanity set and a shower curtain with rustic themes.
There is a misconception that rustic furniture belongs outdoors. That may have been true 100 years ago, but it rustic pieces have moved from the backyard to the parlour and even to the bedroom. Besides bringing people back to nature, it’s completely functional.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Recently a client of mine was very excited to try downloading music after getting high-speed internet. After several searches for unlimited music download services, she came across a site that was ranked #1 among several user review sites. For $14.99 a year, she could get unlimited free downloads to songs, movies, and more! Sound to good to be true? More and more complaints have been issued against these types of music download service companies. My client was just another statistic in the practice of fraudulent music download services. When she signed in to her account for the first time, she was directed to several articles on how to burn CD’s and websites such as Yahoo and Google where she could “search” for her own “free” music. She was also charged an additional $17.00 for spyware software that she didn’t order. We contacted the customer service department on behalf of the client. After being on hold a long while, we were forwarded to the manufacturer of the spyware program that she never agreed to ordering. Further investigation provided us with long lists of reports on this and similar websites offering unlimited “free” downloads. They were selling information that anyone could get for free, and the FTC was on to them. While several cases are pending, there will never be a way to fully rid the cyber-world of these types of fraudulent service providers. What can you do to protect yourself? Here are some basic rules: 1. Do a little research. Check with online review forums that are reputable and well-known. Don’t respond to a pop-up ad or spam. (The user reviews that ranked this particular service provider as #1 were listed on a site owned by the spyware software company, and the reviews were never real.) 2. Remember that songwriters and performers want to get paid for their songs. If a service is offering unlimited downloads to your PC to burn CD’s, these artist are usually not getting paid. Bigger name services allow unlimited download to MP3 players to be used by one listener only. If you see that newest top 40 hit available for free download to your PC, beware. You may be participating in piracy, a crime punishable with jail time or hefty fines. 3. Read the fine print. All reputable service providers should offer a “try it and see” period to test the waters. If a company states that they don’t offer refunds under any circumstances or charge a fee to reimburse you for unused membership fees, get away fast! Glass caskets are used for the burial of small pets. Glass urns are used to contain the remains of a person who has been cremated. Some glass urns can be made with the ashes of the deceased actually baked into the glass. Glass caskets are often used in funeral services to display the body of the deceased. The caskets are usually completely translucent from head to foot. Glass funeral caskets are usually laid horizontally so it appears that the person inside is resting. The bodies can be left in vacuum-sealed glass caskets for up to two days before they start to decompose. Glass caskets are not used for burial, as the glass is not sturdy enough to withstand being put to earth. Glass caskets are usually rented from the funeral home. Glass caskets are much more common for pets than they are for people. Several companies make small glass caskets for pet burial, as well as glass urns for cremated pets. Some manufacturers can make custom glass caskets built to the specifications of the pet owner. Glass urns are an alternative to traditional burial caskets. These urns can hold the cremated remains of the departed or they can hold personal keepsakes. There are an endless number of shapes and sizes of glass urns. Some are elaborately decorated while others are simpler. Some custom glass urns can have some of the ashes of the deceased contained within the glass itself. These urns are frequently used to hold keepsakes. The ashes are baked into a pattern in the glass, with the keepsakes inside the urn. Glass caskets are commonly used for display during funerals. They are also commonly used for pet burial or as containers of ashes. Glass caskets provide a nice alternative to more traditional funeral caskets.

Commercial steel buildings are prefabricated and custom-designed for use as offices, stores, distribution centers, freight terminals, service stations, aircraft hangers, commercial garages and more. Since they can be molded into a range of shapes and sizes, steel buildings are finding applications in most any industry imaginable.
All commercial steel buildings are pre-engineered at the manufacturing site and shipped out along with their components to the construction site for assembling. They are particularly advantageous as they can be easily increased in length and number. Since steel does not require much space for support columns, there is more usable free space, making it more suitable use in large warehouses and airplane hangers. Most manufacturers have trained staff who deliver and lay out the components. This makes construction easier and more efficient.
In addition to their low structural maintenance, and durability, accurate price estimates make steel buildings more attractive in the commercial sector.
Commercial steel buildings come in three major categories. The first is steel framed, wherein just the structure or the frame is made of steel, and the external finishing is done with other conventional material such as stucco or brick. This is common in offices, houses and other smaller establishments.
The next category is steel pole buildings, wherein posts and trusses are replaced with steel and then the roof and walls are sheathed with metal. These buildings, also known as pole barns, are more often used in the agricultural sector.
Lastly, steel arch buildings, made of arched steel panes, are the easiest to erect and are most often used for industrial and agricultural purposes. They are completely made of steel and molded in the form of an arch, which serves as both the roof and the wall. They are mostly used in do-it-yourself construction.
A steel building from any of these categories can offer an affordable and durable option for construction. Housewives all over America had turned to using rugs and carpets, a trait brought over by the waves of immigrants coming from Europe, to cover their bare wood floors and keep the dust and dirt to a minimum. When they were dirty, they had to be carried outside, suspended somehow in the air and then beaten with a metal rod or heavy wooden stick. A bit later someone invented a small, tennis racket-looking device called a rug beater for precisely this purpose. Mr. Hess soon realized that there was probably an easier way to clean rugs without all the fuss and mess and he invented the Carpet Sweeper which had a rotating brush combined with a bellows system that created suction. His amazing invention also used two water chambers to trap the dust and fine dirt. The only problem with Mr. Hess’ machine is that there is no proof it was ever produced. After Mr. Hess’ invention, there came a period of wilder and weirder inventions that sought to accomplish the same thing. In the late 1870’s, Melville Bissell (sound familiar?) marketed a carpet sweeper that picked up the dirt and dropped it into a pan behind the rotating brush. In 1899, John Thurman invented a gasoline-powered vacuum cleaner that is credited as being the first motorized version. In 1901 Hubert Booth of London invented the electric vacuum, a device so large that it was parked outside the house and a 100-foot long hose snaked its way inside and did the dirty work. The device was so popular that housewives all over London held vacuum parties to enjoy the event. It wasn’t until 1908 when James Spangler, a janitor in Ohio, invented the first portable, suction cleaner — the precursor to today’s high tech machines. He sold his patent to his cousin’s husband, William Hoover (also familiar?) and the rest, as they say is history.
